Tyre width will not make a difference if you have the correct offset the wheels should still sit within the arches.

The stock shocks are good upto 40mm, unless you want to go the Tein coiler route, then you could probably go more, but on 19" i would not recommend it.

I am lowered on TTE's which have settled to about 30-33mm on 18's with 225/35 profile tyres and the ride is very harsh.

When i loaded my boot with tiles my wheels were well within the arches, with less then a finger width between the wheels and the body work!

Hi ya Mate,

When You lower your celica to TTE springs, did you still change the shocks or just used the stock ones? Is there any problems like knacking sounds on the bump with the stock shocks? any advice will help a lot... Cheers....

Cheers Mate,

I've order an Eibach 30mm drop shocks for my celica vvti140 and just waiting for it to arrive.. hope everything will be fine... As the budget is tight and can't fork much for a new set of shorter shocks. Maybe when my shocks gets worn.. I will
