Dipped Beam Adjustment For Continental Driving

Very much enjoying the Gen III T3 which we have had for a week.

Does anyone know how to convert the dipped beam for driving on the right? The dealer parts department do not have any kits available. There is not an obvious lens to tape over. Cannot find anything in the manual. The miles/km button does not appear to alter the beam. Anybody know the answer?

On the subject of the headlamp cluster - is it a row of LEDs, just below the parking lights, for daylight running? Or something else?

Hope you can help.

I have now established that there is no easy way to convert the dipped beam for driving on the right - it is back to the last century with engineered sticky back plastic or beam benders as they are more commonly known. I have not bought any yet, but the dealership tipped me off that the dimple in the lamp cluster cover is an alignment point for the dipped beam projector - so a good starting point for a fixing.

My last experience with beam benders many years ago resulted in me finding them migrating towards the bonnet after many hours of driving on the autoroute in driving rain with the lights on. Also they were useless for night time driving. I hope in the intervening years they have improved.

The daylight running query now has its own thread Day Time Running Lights started by JaysPrius.
