Rear Bumper Protector

Hi

Can anyone recommend a protector that covers the top painted part of the rear bumper? Something that will protect the easily scratcheable paint from a dogs claws.

I have seen some advertised, but they say they don't suit specific models (e.g. some say only for models with rear wheel cover).

I would really like something that protects, yet keeps the polished look (if u know what I mean).

Hi i had the same problem i currently drive the XTR (without spare wheel) had a look around thought about the clear film but opted for the bumper protector which is the dark grey ridged cover which dosnt cover parking sensors but does come almost to the inset protector already fitted to bumper (the one wi "RAV 4" on it) theres about a 2 inch gap between them it curves round the bumper and fits under door and i also beleve you can get it in chrome its not listed for 2006> ravs but is listed for the new 2009 model but i can reassure you i does fit .... if youre interested will take photo and post it

The clear film protector is very good - extremely strong and practically invisible. The only problem with it is that it is a real pain to put on. You can download the instructions from Toyota's tech website; they help but it's still pretty tricky!

I got mine from Holland (couldn't get them in the UK at the time for some reason) and fitted it to my 2007 XTR which has a spare wheel (lucky me!).
