Hi All,

I picked up my new (to me) Aygo Platinum last night. She's 16 months old and is a dream to drive. I part-ex'd my ford KA and I'm truely amazed at the difference. I can't believe how powerful the aygo is for such a small engine.

I'll post pics up when my batteries are charged and it's daylight.

Just thought i'd introduce myself....

Hello and Welcome Aboard!

Enjoy the car. Best thing about my Platinum is the leather steering wheel. Our Astra has a plastic one and the tactility of the Aygo one makes any drive just a lot more enjoyable. I find myself rubbing my thumbs over the stitching quite a lot. No doubt there is a fancy name for this sort of mental problem.

I used to have a Ka as well, there seems to be a lot of people that move from the Ka to the Aygo instead of the new Ka or any of the many other small cars out there.

 my mate is buying an aygo - he used to have a KA too.

I think the ford ka is one of the best cars in that market segment...and out of all the new cars today - the aygo is the only one that "sort of compares" to it.

The new ford KA has lost its position imo...its too expensive for a re-badged fiat 500.
