Prius Braking In Emergency

I think my wife and I could be badly injured or worse if it had not been for the excellent braking on our Gen 2 Prius T Spirit. A lorry with suddenly pulled out into middle lane as I was about to overtake on the Leicester by-pass. The fast lane was full of overtaking traffic so I had nowhere to go. I slammed the brake on and the Prius decelerated quickly in smooth straight line. I ended up with the front end of the prius just short of the lorries rear end. Very scary indeed but just another incident which proves what a great car the Prius is.

Just glad to hear you are ok, when I went on the gen 3 Prius 'play day' we were allowed to play with the braking ie 'lets try an emergency stop' etc and I was very impressed with the stability of the car. Thankfully I haven't had to try out my gen 2, so its good to hear they are up to the task too.
