I couldn't afford to purchase my toyota for cash, so I went for a little loan with them to pay it monthly back. It comes out about £301 per month for the next 35 months.

I just checked randomly and i.e if I'd go with Tesco personal loan for the same amount of money, and the same time, I'd have to repay £280 per month. That is £720 of saving Grrr.... <_<

If you can't afford you new car, check other offers, sometimes it might save you money. It wasn't the case with me though...

Is that for your Yaris??

I got mine through Toyota and the finance at the time (and still now) is cheaper than a loan for the equivalent value!!

Always haggle with the salesman when asking for finance.... even the finance offer can be discounted and if they say otherwise then they are lying

I got a reduction in my interest rate simply by telling them that I could get the finance deal cheaper elsewhere.... honest it does work

If you can't afford you new car

Do not buy it! ;)

But if you must.........Toyota are currently offering a very competetive low rate finance on the new Yaris

Easy to say, harder to do. My old Escort was so rusted and old, I could not afford spending more on repairing this old junk of metal, so I just went for new one.

Maybe they are offering some competitive rates but for me, was not as competitive as with others.

I did it once with Toyota finance and found it cheaper to get a bank loan, do an early settlement on the finance and still have smaller payments ;)
