2005 Avensis Cd Player Problem

Hi all,

A few days ago a problem with my 2005 Avensis radio/ cd player occurred. When I'm inserting CD disc into CD player, text Error1 shows on player's display. Now it is impossible to play any CD, although radio works with no problem . I tried both original CD's and writable CD's but nothing changes. Can any one tell what's the problem?

Sounds as if the laser in the cd player has burnt out. This happens when you make home made cd's and write them at high speed. CD's for steros should be written at the slowest speed possible. My wife had the same problem in her car.

yes it looks like a true.

The Author could expect a first error when recorded by Nero Burning program -- in case of a wrong recording speed.
