So i get my aygo tomorrow this is my first new car not wanting to look like an idiot what checks should i do before i sign for it?

Make sure the steering wheel is on straight is one thing I'd say, mine you they seem to have corrected that.

Apart from that then just bodywork and a quick test drive to check for any rattles.

Get there early and look for it before seeing the dealer and look over the car.

Check the outside for scuff marks dents or scratches, all the panel’s roof boot bonnet and bumpers.

Check the wheels for the same, no kerbing etc.

Check the engine bay and make sure the Battery terminals are tight.

Check that any accessories you bought are supplied and fitted.

Handbook/user manual is present.

Keys, and ask for leather key fobs for the spare set!

When inside glance over the upholstery and carpets, basically it will be all visual which will take time

If you are happy then sign what you have to sign and enjoy your new car

Before you drive off, familiarise yourself with all the controls.
