hi everybody,

ive had my yaris two years now, still love it but was gonna change it for something faster, but now changed my mind and thought i would try to make it a little bit faster. any suggestion from tried and tested methods and which is the best option? i have about £1500 to spend. i dont want a turbo or supercharger but was thinking maybe along the lines of remapped, manifold, decat etc. if you point me in the right direction (price / dealer) i would appriciate it very much.

thanks

well You can get a good Induction kit, OBX manifold, sports cat and a better back box and then do a nice remap for that money and have change. OBX mainfold eBay.com (US) Scion XB type in eBay OBX and use the filter thing should be around $120. Induction Kit £170 K&n Typhoon, sports cat you can done at your local zaust place, also for a baxk box try your local shop thats like Halfords but better than them, a remap you'll have to look around but your looking at £350 cause you need a piggy back unit as well, plus you'll want to lower it if you havent done so and put better brake pads as well. Think that you'll have about £10 change once youve done if you dont do any work yourself

Turbo will still gives you best bang for your buck (...and possibly the same insurance cost).

According to the first post, a turbo is out of the question and as for insurance.....If you bolt a turbo on any N/A car, the insurance will sky rocket!!
