a mate was ordering the gaitors for the G-stick and the h-brake .. but I've not heard from him in ages .. I did post a link .. but then came the infamous TOC crash ..

I'll have a look monday ..

Dunno .. but the place I was looking at could do any colour leather and any colour stitching ..

Am I right in thinking that later revision cars had red stitching ?

1998 and above models got red stitching IIRC..

damn im sad lol, i havnt even got an mr2 yet n ive already seen every website there is to know about the mr2! :blink::help:

HOWEVER,......

i mentioned this once b4 and didnt get any response, but when sticking in a 180mph clock how does the speedo needle know where to be? e.g standard import guage shows 110mph where your new one shows 180mph.

i appreciate recalibrating with either unichip or aftermarket delimiter alters this but, most aftermarket dials only go up to 160mph, and the 160 is in the same place as the 180 on your new dial.

so how do u recalibrate for this scenario?

COME ON SOMEONE THIS REALLY NEEDS SORTING! :thumbsup:

my current speedo reads 180MPH... so these new dials will be fine.

Should look good also !! Petty my omori gauge won't look all funky tho .. :(

Ah yes, Bibbs, I remember now expressing interest in one of those leather gators, with silver stitching.... cool let us know what you find out :)

I've got a black surround I bought in Thailand. I think it's got red stiching down the seam's...dunno if thats any good.

I fancy getting a red one myself so I don't think I'll use it.
