Hello Boys And Girls I'm Back

Bought a Toyota Avensis 2.2 D-4D Tourer T3X in Metallic Burgundy on a 56 plate....to replace the mistake I bought to replace my wonderful Rav4....Should not have sold it...but you learn by your mistakes sometimes the hard way....anyhow I am back with my lovely new car and looking forward's to chatting to you all again....

What do you think.

It is the face lift model before they brought out the new shape so it has the new engine and the six speed box, cruise control, electric everything, climate control and the rest...it is very comfortable and drives absolutely superb...the only way it could be better is if it washed itself when it got dirty..lol...though cleaning her is a bit of a job every bit is a pleasure....we are taking the car to France as usual this Christmas, one of four journeys to France it will make each year....my 12 year old Rav4 (sadly sold on), below

never needed checking before we made a journey and I knew it would never let me down (unlike the Renault, something new every month)....I know that this is the car for me....now where did I put the Polish.

Another quick update We got Married since I last had the opportunity to talk to you..no kids yet but you never know.

Got the car on the motorway over the weekend for a good run 140 miles at an average of 62 miles to the gallon, this was with the cruise control on and early in the morning (lack of traffic), however on the return journey the average dropped to a creditable 54 miles to the gallon with heavier traffic...my scenic gave 60 mpg average from its turboed 1.5ltr and the Avensis is a 2.2 turbo.....all in all I am very happy.
