Paseo Immobiliser

I have just fitted a new engine to my paseo after the bottom end went in the original! Unforunately in the meantime the immobiliser has decided to stay on permanently with the car being parked up for the last six months and the Battery disconnected until the replacement engine was fitted. The remotes for the original Toyota alarm seem to be both working, arming and disarming the alarm. I dont hear the fuel pump operating and there is no spark. The ECU hasn't been changed, car drove into garage, although it sounded similar to a rock breaker in the local quarry! only engine changed.

Any ideas lads????

:censor: :censor: :crybaby: :!Removed!: :!Removed!: Immobiliser seems to have reset as I am now getting 12v at coil but still no spark, or so weak it is negligible. Would i have an igniter/coil/dizzy wiring problem? :crybaby::crybaby::unsure::unsure::unsure:
