Which Tyres Suit My Car Best?

Hi guys & girls.

I am ready for a new pair of tyres on front.I have only recently purchased car so I have no history to go from. I have a 1991 2.0 GT rev2.

At present it is fitted with 215/40/17 toyo's.

Heres my dilemma . . . Do i stick with the toyo's or do i get yokohama's (about same price).

I welcome your knowledge and advice.

Cheers.

Tony

Bridgestones S02's are the best .. S03's are not bad ..

I've been a fan of Goodyear F1's

but now running Toyo's Proxies

Make sure that the fronts are thinner than the rears .. 215/40/17's and 235/40/17's ..

Thanx for replies, never considered any other than toyo's or yoki's.

Advice from ex toyota mechanic.

i can get toyo's fitted at 98 quid each

or yoki's at 94 each.

I have 235 avon's on the back at moment, they seem o.k but not pushed it just yet.

I bought the car with standard 14" alloys on. then got some 17's and lowered it too.

Will the car need tracking now do you know?

The cars are VERY sensitive to tracking .. best get a 4 wheel laser alignment ..

For the settings look Here .. as this guy has done a bit of research into the setup.
