Have I Got Speech Command Control?

Hi All,

Owners manual mentions this, I have the symbols on the steering wheel , but get no buzzer when it is pressed ,works Sat Nav display in other mode ok.

Is this an option.

If you are not getting the 'BEEP' sound, I would assume the option is not present in your car.

Going by the usual prices charged by Mr. T, I would imagine it would cost a small fortune to have it installed later.

Standard on the T-Spirit with full sat nav , and thats all !

What spec Avensis is it that you have?

On my TR with Full Map (Sat Nav), I get the lady's voice prompt "Please say command after tone" when I press the voice button on the steering wheel.

But the only recognised options are to do voice-dials (which you pre-record and attach to a phone book entry).
