Help!!!   Took sump cover off to do an oil change and what I believe is the clutch the plate off the end of the aircon unit was sitting in the tray 🙄. Can it just be screwed back on, if so does anyone know how tight etc or if anything else is affected?

P. S it's a 2007 t spirit ( tourer)

I think I have a similar issue but my vane plate has sheared off. I found these parts laying at the bottom of the engine on the sump guard. It looks like I only have 5 of the 6 rubber grommets. The broken bit with the thread on is still on the shaft and I can rotate the shaft freely. Does anybody know if I can replace these parts whilst the compressor is still on the car?

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

I know it's a long shot as the post is so old but did you ever get to the bottom of this?
