Engine Swap Advace

Hello all, first time here on the site, it looks great.

I have a 92 celica gt convertable and I like it a lot. It runs great even at 230k miles. Sometime soon I would like to replace the engine before it gives me any problems. My question is to all the experienced celica people out there - what engine should I put in? I will not consider putting the same engine in, so it will have to be some sort of upgrade. I have heard of robbing all-trac/gtfour turbo engines for this, is it possible? Does anyone have a checklist of parts I will need, or know where I can get the engine? Any and all advice welcome, thanks for the help!

What you want is the engine AND gearbox from a MR2 TURBO. This fits (with your engine/gearbox mounts ) pretty well straight in. You'll need the ECU and engine loom from the turbo and the struts/hubs and brakes off a GT4 front end. Contact rogue systems for ideas of prices http://www.roguesystems.co.uk
