Avensis Abs Problems

HI,all

Lately,my abs system has begun crunching the brakes at quite low speeds.Today however the abs light is on and off

intermittently,so sometimes I'm on normal braking and other times abs crunching brakes. This is a pain, so I've decided

to disable the abs altogether.Does anybody know of a handy way to do this, besides pulling the fuse, which also fuses the

brake lights and some other things. In fact, why should the abs behave this way.

Cheers,

Barneybear.

Sorry i cannot shed any light on this problem, but i would strongly recommend that you do not disable the ABS system as this is part of the safety systems on the car. Also if the car is fitted with VSC and traction control then these will also be disabled.
