Hiya guys

Couldn't see one hence the question

Are there any "HOW TO" guides for removing the Speedo please, I need to find which wire on the back is the PULSE wire or SPEED SIGNAL WIRE as I need to splice into it for the new head unit

Cheers!!

first remove the black frame, two phillips screws on the top hold this.. you will need a short screw driver as the steering hub will get in the way. Pull the black frame away.

Once you remove that you will see 2 or 3 phillips screws remove them and the speedo cluster is free. I fitted my GPS antenna behind my speedo cluster.

I presume you are fitting a sat nav unit for the speed pulse. When i fitted my HU i spliced into the speed pulse from main internal wiring harness... at the bottom of the centre console near the gear shift.

Its the white wire with pink stripes.. i have the purple wire attached to it in the pic above.

Is that picture pretty much what I will see when the centre consoles removed?

Im looking at it, trying to see what connector block thats on, and where its located, I wanna make sure I splice into the right wire lol

Yep remove the center console and you will have something like this:

Then its the top block.. and the white and pink wire as pictures.. its the only white and pink wire on that connector.

I could possibly get a better pic if you like when i remove my center console this weekend.
