Non Toyota Parts?

I need to buy an airflow meter and Toyota are quoting £125 inc VAT

Theres a guy selling the parts on eBay new and 12 month guaranteed for £55 inc VAT/Post

I'm presuming these are non toyota parts but it doesn't say:

The same part number from the same seller is here for £80..... why would there be a price difference do you think?

The only difference i can see is the car type in the product description but i'm thinking they are exactly the same?

You think these will be fine or should i spend £100+ on original Toyota parts?

Up to you what you buy, i would get the original Toyota one...Less chance of it failing after a few thousand miles. :)

Agree with above.

Cheap meters have a habit of failing: just after the warranty. They are after all failrly critical to engine performance and a precision item which should not require replacement very often.

Try going to your local motor factors (such as Partco) or auto electrical suppliers (yellow pages....)

That's where the trade buys their spares.

I'd agree that buying from eBay carries a risk, but buying from one of these such outlets, you know you're getting a good quality replacement...
