Maf Sensor Is Voltage Or Frequency Driven?

Do you know if a 2006 Toyota Rav 4 MAF sensor is voltage or frequency driven?

Also the output of the alternator? are rated between 80 and 100 amps

The trouble is all my info is on Euro spec RAVs. Can you try R4W (RAV 4 World) which is the US forum?
