Well time has come to wave goodbye the the Rav, i have to say its been a top motor. Its now been replaced by a motorcycle. So a sad day in our house.

I will be sticking a few bits up on the Bay shortly so would appreciate a clue as what you guys (and galls ) think they would be worth.

A set of the roof bars in silver.

Hi Stew, Are you willing to consider a trade-in? Mine is in reasonable shape but has a few more miles on the clock. Oh, and she slides of chairs as well after about a glass and a half of wine! ;)

I am willing to consider anything Chris, however i don't think you could afford my wife as it takes at least a litre + a half of wine before she slides off chairs + you'll have a hell of a job getting her back on her feet again :D Stew

I have found that the rear bumper protector for an XT4 (apre on door) will fit on an XTR (no spare) if it is either just positioned inboard about 20mm further or 20mm trimmed off the inner edge. The XT4 bumper is obviously a bit deeper to blend in with the wheel cover. Just for info of those with XTR's as Toyota dont seem to list a similar bumper protector (thick plastic) for that model.

Does anyone know the bore size of the Rav wheels, i know the PCD is 114.3 and the older models are listed as hving a 60mm bore but dont know if this was carried over to the 4.3 models. I ended up with a Suzuki Grand Vitara (new shape) spare wheel which i wondered if i could use as a spare if needed as they use the 114.3 PCD the same and has the bore size at 60mm.

You need wheels with a PCD (basically the diameter of a circle that passes through the 5 studs) of 114.3mm, an offset of between 35 and 45mm and a bore of 60.1mm

Cheers for that Anchorman so that should fit , i wont advertise it here :naughty: . But it may be of use to XTR owners , so drop me a pm if you want a spare.

Well the main news is that the Rav went today, quite sad to see it go it had been a blinding vehicle , doing everything i had asked of it,

I took most of the accessories off it (and theyve just been sold on the Bay) so got a bit back for them which is good news, i think they were the most sensible ones to have , rear bumper protector, roof bars, T180 check strap, K+n filter, boot liner etc,

I didnt remove the rear tow bar even though i had had requests for it due to having to remove the bumper and the wiring.

Hope to keep poping back in from time to time, (maybe back in the Rav4 fold, again, this is the second time)

Off to play with my other toys now.

:D
