Politician Says What He Thinks...

Very interesting comments made by the Shadow Home Secretary yesterday when told about the possible appointment of an ex army General to a post as a junior defence minister.

When he thought it was for another party he said "I hope that this isn't a political gimmick", when he found out it was for his party he said it was "great news".

Proof if any more were needed about the motives and honesty behind the comments made by politicians.

I don't see the problem.

The current government are well known for their gimmicks.

He said if it's NOT a gimmick, it's good news.

It's not, and it's actually for his own party.

If he said "the bloke is rubbish, why would you want him in the Lords?" - that would have been an issue.
