Front End Shimmy

I have a 2002 Camry with the 2.4L engine. Basically, it's a fantastic car. My only problem since day one is that between 35-50 mph the front end experiences a slight, yet annoying vibration. I've had it in to the dealer numberous times to no avail. At 8k miles they even replaced the original tires with Michelins. Very nice tires; same problem. When traveling at speeds above 50mph, the vibration dies down a bit, yet you can still here the "wump, wump, wump" sound. Also, when decelerating and applying brakes from highway speeds, there is a definite pulsing in the brake pedal.

As I mentioned, I love the car, the space, the layout, the fuel efficiency, but this has been a problem since day one of owning the car and I am completely fed up. If I could afford to take a loss on the car I'd trade it in on something that didn't shake up front.
