How Could This Happen?

Well folkes I am embarrased to say we have missed out some important landmarks in history.

I must admit when I log in I go directly to the RAV page and hardly ever look elsewhere but I have shot myself in the foot because we have missed out the birthdays of two good friends;

On the 6th, our old mate Local Hero (or stewpot as would be written on his helmet if he was in Top Gun) was 94. But his looks and charm defy his age and he can text with one hand as good as any Manchester hoodie even if he does it with his tongue hanging out. He works long hours and can often be seen around Manchester Airport navigating for his Westie dog who drives the taxi.

Seriously though, I would like to wish a belated very many happy returns to one of the nicest things for me that has come out of joining this club and that is having the pleasure of meeting one of the kindest and sincere people I have ever come accross.

All the best Stew! (I know you are only 91).

Next I have to dig a hole in order to hang my head low enough to admit I missed out our very own James Bond. This man thinks everything through and is only capable of making completely rational decisions. On the 8th our old mate Dave M was 21 (again).

Dave, I also wish you all the very best and many more 21st birthdays. You are the one that seems to alert us to birthdays and then you get missed out. I am just about to fall on my sword but I will go and rough it up with a file for maximum agony first!!!

So! Well done chaps and I'm sure I echo the thoughts of many RAV owners in these birthday wishes and sincere apologies for missing you out.

Oh B**ger!

You're absolutely right AM, Dave and LH definitely deserve better. :yes:

Like you I tend to jump straight for the RAV section, but have also had a frantic few weeks and have not had chance to look in - Well that's my excuse. :(.

I will wear "Ribbon of Shame" (The sword trick leaves too much mess for somebody else to clean up).

Happy belated one from me to both of you. :thumbsup:

Thanks :thumbsup:

Have'nt been on here much for last 3-4 weeks, it's too painful :crybaby:

Well actually I had a minor accident at work which led to much pain when I sit at a desk at home or work, or drive or try to sleep.

I got skelped on the face with a swinging crane control, which caused me to ***** my neck, which gave me a trapped nerve. This is

causing a lot of pain in neck, shoulder, arm and numb tingly fingers. Anyway off to see a private therapist in the land of mad

3 door fast Rav owners (Bothwell :eek: ) so hopefully better soon. :thumbsup:
