Rust On An 03 Avensis !

I brought a new style Avensis Tourer in March 03. Spotted yesterday that there was three tiny pin head size spot of rust coming through on the tailgate where it meets the bottom of the rear window :ffs: . Gotta take it to the dealer to make sure they aren't stone chips & are covered by the warrantee (Come on be real, I've got more chance of me winnig the lottery than getting even one stone chip where its rusting, let alone 3!!!). Has anyone else had any rust problems.

nope, but its built in derby, so it doesnt suprise me.

if they wont sort it for you ask them how they explain stone chips in thhat location

They will sort it as you have got 6 years or something like that with the paint against corrosion mate.
