Auto Lights Sensitivity

Hi,

I have a 2007 (facelift model) Avensis T3-X D4D (56 plate, registered 1/07). I would like the lights to come on sooner when in auto mode. At the moment it seems too dark by the time they come on. I know the setting can be changed from Light 1, Light 2, Normal, Dark 1, Dark 2. Which way does the setting need changing (lighter or darker) to make them come on sooner? I know I could experiment, but that would need a friendly dealer. Also, do you know if the 'key in ignition' warning can be disabled on this model?

You need a LIGHTer setting.

How do you change the setting please?

I'd also be interested in knowing how to turn off that bleep when the door is open and the key is in the ignition.
