Auris Head Unit

Afternoon all,

I am under the impression that the head unit (pictured) will be installed on my new Auris as I have chosen the Tech Pack upgrade. I have asked the dealer and he has said that he thinks it is but is not 100% and the living parts manual that is Parts-King can't find anything to confirm my suspicions.

Does anyone know anything about this head-unit or whether it will be installed as part of a new build?

Answered my own question,

This is the European Sat Nav version apparantly.

The Tech Pack does not upgrade the head unit from the standard one.

Apparently that’s the UK one?

Had a look at Auto Trader and all the listed cars with Sat Nav show the one you have above?

I think that the one you have posted looks better to me!

Oh well I am stuck with the normal one I suppose. Had a word with the dealer and although they have not "allocated" me a car yet and it has not been built and they can't give me a delivery date, I still can't change my spec.

Have to live with it.

PS, how long do new cars take to arrive? Ordered it last Wednesday (14th Oct)

The unit I've posted is being used all over the Europe. There is no separate UK model, everywhere the same one.

New car which is being ordered from the factory will be delivered to your dealer approx. after 3 or 4 months!

3 - 4 MONTHS !!!

I brought a house quicker than that lol!

So me having a new car for the crappy December weather is out of the question then!
