Clutch

Our Rav's clutch is down to about 2" of travel. Still works ok but is it due for a new one or can it be adjusted? We're on 80k now with the original one.

Any ideas on cost?

It can't be adjusted but I wouldn't like to predict how long it might last on 2" of travel - could be years!

I would forget about it until it causes you a problem.

As Anchs says unless you are uncomfortable with it leave it as it is, 2yrs ago i was quoted £1000 by Mr T for a new cutch fitted, and £550 by an independent garage, not that you will need one on a petrol, but £1600 with a DMF Mr T,.. £1000 by the same independent..Stew
