GT models use a 1.8-liter dual-overhead-cam inline 4-cylinder engine. It is able to churn out 140 horsepower at 6400 rpm and 125 lb-ft of torque at 4200 rpm

GT-S trims receive a similar 1.8-liter I4 engine. It dishes out a rumbling 180 horsepower at 7600 rpm and 130 lb-ft of torque at 6800 rpm

US celicas are rated a little less power, same as the corollas. I think it may be due to the octane of fuel they use. There regular petrol is like 90ron where as ours is 95...etc
