Check Vsc.....

ive had check vsc come on twice for no reason under normal driveing (t180)

anybody know anything about this ....manual isnt much help ??????

What were your driving conditions?

It may have intervened without you being aware of it.

I was under the impression that Check VSC should only appear when it self tests at start up... or when a fault appears with the system.

I suspect that a trip to your local dealer may be in order?

thanks guys goin to ask dealer its goin in for a new steering column anyway

when i start car it says vsc ok..... when pushing hard the car with the skid marks light comes on (sometimes when wet)

twice its told me check VSC under normal driveing when i stop then restart engine it says VSC ok

ill speak to dealer and let yous know

If you are pushing the car hard and in the wet, sounds like the electronics are doing their thing

"Check VSC" means you have to CHECK it. It's not coming because of your driving style.

dealer tells me might be related to my steering column problem

What is the problem with your steering rack ???? I remember seeing something on here about a steering rack recall, but not sure exactly what issue it caused or what cars were effected.

I sometimes think there is something not quite right with mine, sometimes i seem to feel a slackness through the steering wheel, if that makes any sense.

nothing wrong with steering rack its my steering column when driving over bumps or a cobble street it rattles

dealer thinks this coud be related to my check VSC coming on. new column and recalibration of electronics may help

still no word on my new column so have to wait and see
