Hi all,

Please could someone help me out?

I am trying to locate the product code that someone once posted here for a Space Saver that actually fits in the T180 boot space (replacing where the tyre compressor would be), unless i dreamt up the whole thing i am sure that there is such a thing.

I have tried searching but without avail.

Many thanks in advance.

I got a Honda civic one out of a scrappy and it fits fine.

Yes very good thinking, I should have known this as I tried my mates CW alloy wheels on my car he was selling a few months back.

Can you please clarify something for me.

In the thread "Sr180 alloys.., can they be bought", you said it was from an Accord?

Please, which was it, Accord or Civic, and which year and model?

Also have you tried it on both front and back wheels to make sure it fits, as some have stated that the offset for IRS on the SR180 affects how it fits on the rears?

In case you (or anyone else) is looking, check out T Sports' link above.

I got the 42611-0F090 wheel from Mr T and a T125/80 17 tyre from my local tyre shop. Mr T was dying to ask what the wheel was for, but didn't!

They fit the car hubs and in the boot space perfectly.

The wheel was about 55 quid and the tyre was just under forty fitted...

Hi Bobo

Can you confirm this wheel fitted the front and the back hubs ??

There seemed to be a confusion that it wouldn't fit on the front due to the calipers.

Thanks

Andy

Don't know how I managed to miss replying to this thread Andy, sorry,

I trial fitted the spare a while ago and yes it does fit front and back, and it does clear the calipers.

Hi,

I bought an Auris SR180 a few weeks ago and was surprised when there was no spare wheel.

I do a lot of driving and it was on my mind every time I got in the car that if I got a puncture the repair kit would be useless.

Yesterday I found this website http://www.partsgateway.co.uk/ and put in that I was looking for a space saving wheel for a Toyota Auris SR180.

1 hour later I got a phone call from a scrap yard who said they had one. I couldn't believe it when they turned out to be about 1 mile from where I live.

Turned up and he got the wheel, brand new, never been used. The Auris it came from was up in the air with no wheels on it so I tried it on the front and it wouldn't fit becasue of the calipers. However, it did fit the back so if I get a puncture on the front I'll just put one of the rear ones on the front and the spare on the back.

Fits perfectly in the boot too.

Oh, paid £75 which I thought was a bargain considering both wheel and tyre are brand new.

LOL its interesting all these post regarding the spare saver.

I have bought one also from MR T and they tried on when I went there (they had also doubts regarding if it fits ) and fit it both front and back.

But I read in different post that some ppl had actually problem to fit the spare-saver in the front sincerely I do not know what to say regarding this I will try again mine when I will have free time from curiosity to see, but Mr T fit it perfectly in their service hmm strange!!!
