Well time has come to say farewell to you fine Ravvers :crybaby:

Not in the sense that I'm leaving the Toyota clan but the RAV family. Today I will be taking Big Red back to MR T and trading her in for her big Silver Sister LC4.(Not got a name for her yet... but I know one thing she's a big Momma!!!)

I have found a bunch of fellow LC drivers which dont seem to hang out much on the Toyotaownersclub site but have their own web gathering area - nowhere near as mad as the Ravvers site but full of usefull info though I have'nt seen anyone on there who is as informative as your own RAV Guru Anchorman but the way they work seems to be more like a collective - everyone adds a little bit until you get the full picture ;)

So my dear Ravver friends, It has been a great pleasure and honour to have met you guys and I will surly miss you, I'll pop in every now and then just to see if the regulars are still about. But as I've mentioned before I shall miss the banter from our 3 door'd jetpropelled (or he might have converted his rav engine to a hyper drive one by now) Bothers, and the banter and advice from Anchorman, Chatman,Fuj,Duncs, and never forgetting our resident parts expert Kingo (although I believe he is also well known on the other site....)

Anyway, what I mean to say is I'll miss you chaps.... shall we ever need to downsize I shall return to the RAV tribe as nothing else compares. :group-cuddles:

Have a nice life

Regards

Rob

Hey Fuj' how are you doing and how is it going?

I always sit and "play" in that one in RRG when I am there. I like the Typhoon HUD feature!

In a word...busy! :(

Started yet another OU science course a month or so ago and it's a monster, so every spare minute is devoted to that.

Sadly, it means almost zero time for posting....but I do keep an eye on you lot! ;)

Yeah, the HUD is cool B) and very useful, no need to take your eyes off the road, especially when it flashes up directions from the Sat Nav. :toast:

Times up...back to the books.

Man... I do miss my RAV... although...

Took the sliver beast out for a good spin and do love it, specially that I managed to get the inlaws 2 kids the wife and her sister in it for a day out... ;) so I now know for sure that I've made the right decision... still when it comes to downgrading it will be a RAV or will it????

AS the LC is back with MR T to get a new key sorted out as it only came with one.. - MR T agreed to supply me with a new key, further to this I'm getting the wheels rotated properly as the chap who refurbed the alloys put the same tread on one side of the LC rather than across the axles...:cowboy: - Anywho... MR T gave me a replacemnet car for the duration of the works and I ended up with a car like the one Fuj has got.... Man that Prius is full of gadgets.... I like the HUD and also the steering wheel interface with the fancy display in the centre console... not bad at all... and when power mode is selected it shifts nicely tooo :naughty: good choice of car Fuj  , although I must say on the negative side, I dont like the vue you get out the back and the windscreen/windows take ages to de-mist... anywho get my LC back tomorrow - back to bouncy country then as the LC does kinda bounce about a bit

Regards

Rob
