Hi all. Our 2002 Rav has decided to light its engine managment light, after standing for 7days it was fine when we parked it up. I have taken the Battery off and reset it. Started it up, it went out for 30 seconds then gave 2 small revs and the light came back on, it runs ok and drives fine. Any idea's. Is there any way of getting the codes with out going to the garage?

Also the trip on the radio is now in KML not MPG I have read thi manual but must be doing something wrong how do I get it back.

Thanks in advance.

You can get the codes by shorting wires to retrieve a flash code - I will post asap or just search for "flash codes" and see the pdf. Probably an oxygen sensor.

Somebody will tell you about the units as this has popped up before.

any eobd code reader will check the fault and tell where the faulty area is

secondly press the mode button on the stereo and it will go through all data i.e. clock mpg etc

use the arrow buttons below the on/off switch to alter..
