Ive just given my 2009 1.3 Sr (old model with the motorsport wheels and nav) to my mum at exactly 1 yr old and 14k miles, all of which i have put on since buying the car new.

Didnt skip a beat in a year and averaged 48.3 mpg over the 12 months. Not bad for a petrol car!

Been forced by the powers that be to get an old car so we can buy a new house, so the little yaris has passed to my mum. Im not going out without a fight though and have replaced her with an Alfa 156, a car that i have always wanted, can be picked up for peanuts and will undoubtably be infinatley more troublesome than the yaris and Aygo that have gone before.

See you later, parhaps in another Toyota in a few years!

Around and around we go. I had a couple of 156s from 1999 - 2006. My forum id is a legacy from the Alfa 156 forums....

I had the first for 4.5 years from new and had no problems with it whatsoever.

I bought the second at 12 months old. It was OK, but hadn't been looked after and whilst it didn't let me down, I never kissed it goodnight - and when it threw me off Snake Pass backwards one November afternoon, we parted company.....

I hope you have a great time with the 156. Feel free to PM me here if you have any queries.
