Hiace Engines

Highace super custom limited 1993, has EFI DEISEL TURBO embossed on the valve cover. This is a 2 litre model.

Is this type of engine one which is likely to be prone to overheats and cylinder head cracking problems, or is it pretty safe?

Anyone with the knowledge who can advise me, I would be most grateful.

Uk Market Hiace had the following engines:

2L - 2446cc

2L-T - 2446cc Turbo

3L - 2779cc

It might have a 2C-T - 1975cc Turbo,not a UK Market.
