Hiace Engines

Can anybody tell me the type of engine to be found in a Hiace Super Custom Lmited, 2 litre, of 1993 vintage,

With EFI DIESEL TURBO embossed on the valve cover?

More specifically is this engine prone to overheating and cylinder head cracking problems?

Any advice would be most welcome before I embark on an expensive purchase.

I had gradually started to come to the conclusion that to purchase would not be a good idea.
