No Interior Lights Or Hazard Flash With C/locking?

Hi all,

Nobody else seems to have ever had this problem... when locking or unlocking my 2000 Avensis, i do not get the hazards flashing or the interior light coming on, is there a relay somewhere responsible for this? I cannot see anything in the Haynes manual wiring diagrams that could obviously be the problem.

Just a little annoyance, especially with the dark nights drawing in!

Hi mate,

May sound a bit obvious...but check all doors and boot are locked....this normally indicates that not all doors are locked.

Hi mate,

May sound a bit obvious...but check all doors and boot are locked....this normally indicates that not all doors are locked.

I will check that... to be honest I've never checked all doors! wouldn't be the end of the world if the car went missing!

Checked that... all locking. Any other ideas?
