Key Identification

Hi

just acquired a nice 03 gls 1.8 to replace our aging corolla and very pleased with it - my concern is that although we have 2 working keys I did not get the little tag with the key identification number on it. In the event that we lost a key and needed a replacement is this a problem?

It will be a problem if you need a new key. If possible contact the previous owner who may have the tag or has stored the number. However it is better to take good care of the keys as they are very expensive to replace.
