I have a 02 Reg Avensis hatchback.

The other day, I pluged a USB power supply into the cigerette lighter socket. Unfortunately, that USB supply is faulty. It immediately killed cig lighter and ....Radio/CD/SATNAV (I saw the LCD went off which a 'click').

Now there is no power from Cig Ligher, LCD screen is dark, canot turn on CD/RADIO/SATNAV. I found a fuse box underneath bonnet, just beside Battery. But I could not find a faulty one. Actually I did not know which is which. There is a indiction map inside the box lid. But I really cannot fidn out which one is for Cig lighter.

Could anyone give a direction of:

where is the correct fuse box?

Which fuse is for Cig ligher and Radio/CD/SATNAV?

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

You need to remove the storage box (bottom right of drivers side, which you can keep coins etc in due to it's size.). Then you can access the internal fuses.

Cheers,

Marv

You are absolutely a STAR!!!!!!

Pulled out the coin box, found whole lot of fuses. Found a diagram of fuse function on back of the coin box. Found one 15A for 'CIG & RAD'. pull it out with the small toll found inside fuse box underneath bonnet. Replace it with the spare one found at fuse box underneath bonnet. The radio started singing.....

Thanks a lot

:D
