Two Tier Premier League Plan Featuring Celtic & Rangers

I wonder if this would be a good thing , besides what would become of the SPL should Celtic & Rangers leave ? and what about english clubs being denied a place that they may or may not have been entitled to , but find themselves sqeezed out because of the introduction of the 2 scottish clubs .

Should it materialise and Celtic & Rangers were to join the EPL i can see this as a win win situation for them , the EPL is currently awash with money whereas the SPL is skint due in part to the collapse of setanta and the loss of TV Revenue from that collapse , i'm sure the 2 scottish giants would jump at the chance to join the EPL , but do we really want or need them , also would the majority of their fans want to join the EPL , i was tuned in to Talk Sport Radio yesterday whilst they were debating the subject , and whilst the response from the Rangers and Celtic fans was mixed , there was an awful lot of calls from the Celtic fans stating how much they hate the english , so would we be better off inviting only one of the two ? , it would be nice to here other peoples views on this subject

A few days after i posted the Topic , the EPL slammed the door firmly shut and declared that the two scottish giants would never be allowed into the English premier league , shame , cos if i'm honest i was secretly hoping that Rangers would be welcomed into the premier league with open arms :D which would have given me the best of both worlds , i've followed Rangers fortunes since the late seventy's but have only seen them play live a few times , i would dearly love to experience an old firm derby , and i'm sure one day i will realise that dream .... its on my list of things to do before i fall off the perch

I know the ref quite well - he teaches at the same school as where my wife works. The guy was gutted by the reaction he got - shame. Death threats on his answering machine at home, and to his wife!! The Scots judges have warned a 5 year jail term for anyone caught making such threats. Rangers deserved to win even without the penalty. It'll take some time for the Celtic players to learn a common language that they can all understand!
