I have come across instructions as to how a Toyota key and sub key can be programmed providing you have a master key.Has anyone been successful in programming a key containing a transponder.

The reason I ask is ,when a bought a 57 avensis the salesman could only supply one key and a sub key.The sub key is useless as every time I tried to use it, it sets the alarm off and the only way I can stop the alarm is to use the master.Not only have I got one master key but the serial number of the key cannot be found.
