Sales Figures!

780 Toyota IQs have been registered in Sweden in 2009, that is approx. 50% of the sales figures for the Aygo but a couple of 100s more than the Rav4.

If you have any sales figures from where you live it would be interesting seeing them :)

Those percentages for Toyota don't add up - there is 30% missing somewhere . . . :o

Now the salesfigures for Germany are fine (the Bestseller Yaris was not on my list) - 101% is correct, if you add only the rounded number :o

I live in New Zealand and there is no IQ selling directly from Toyota New Zealand.

The Toyota dealers have imported some near new demo IQ from Japan a year ago and they've given them Toyota official warranty and service.

I guess they were trying to test how the New Zealand market response to this car ...

However for some reason, the sales gone pretty bad... Same cars I've seen on ad last year are still around unsold...

There could be a few reasons...

1.) Toyota here mark the price of IQ ~40% higher than the lowest model of Yaris, which is about the same as a brand new 2010 model VW polo (car of the year)

2.) Lack of promotion as there aren't much of them

3.) There are plenty of parking space here unless for someone that go to city and park on the street frequently

My personal perspective is... Whoever bought an IQ from a local dealer instantly flagged themselves as a 'stupid idiot'. There are lots of better option, better brand to choose from in that price range.

I've imported my IQ and I've never seen another IQ on the road yet :(

Thought I would just revive this thread! This info is for the UK and NEW REGISTRATIONS

2008 - 7

2009 - 2637

2010 - 1183

The only figures for 2011 are for Q1, and how many were TAXED/SORN in that period and that total is 4151. 4145 had tax discs and 6 were on a SORN.
