Weird Noise This Morning....

Well more then 60 000 kms on the clock and I think this was the first time something similar happen. I remember having a similar noise a few months or even 1 year back but not sure it was the same noise. Truth is the noise in both situations is gone after a few seconds. I'm sure it comes from inside the hood but not sure what can be and its a weird noise to describe. The most similar noise that comes to my mind is of those cars with rubber chain belt when they the belt is really expiring. When u start such cars they make a characteristic sound like a squeal. Well it was something similar but not quite the same. Hard to explain actually. This happen in the morning it has been raining but not too much cold today 16º or so at 7:30am.

Is there any check up I could make on my own? Should I worry and take it to service? He was there a couple of months ago and nothing was reported to me. I still have 3 more years of warranty so not very worried but its my daily car if it stops it will cause me some buggers.

I am not sure if that is what are you talking about but check the drive belts if the tension is correct. Drive belt may be slipping if gets wet, is not properly adjusted or it is just old. It could be alternator bearing too(?)
