Another Audio Question

On the audio display, the top section i.e the black bar across the top shows 'artist', but nothing ever appears there when playing CD or HDD tracks.

Should it display the artist name?

You can edit the artist manually for any cds you have loaded on to the HDD by going into the options tab and then selecting edit.

as for cd's playing in the head unit, not a clue i am afraid.

I noticed this last night, it just displays "artists", then CD and a number, and track and a number. So despite using gracenote to label up all the CDs on my HDD, when playing it doesn't show any of that info. As you have observed.

Incidentally, I think Artist is the mode it's using to play, I've also seen it say Genre.

Just a real shame that to then see the detail, you need to press audio. Missed opportunity in my eyes.
