Valet Around Gloucester

Hi,

My car has the swirls made by the dreaded automatic car wash. Ideally I want to get rid of this and wondered if anyone could recommend anywhere around the Gloucester area. I've been told that machine polishing will get rid of the swirls but wondered if there was any downside to this?

Also what is the best way to keep it swirl free? I was thinking of only hand washing it after it was done - is this the best way? What products would you recommend? Are shammys okay to use?

Hi again

I normally handwash mine myself, but, on occasion I have visited the handwash place (not sure what it's called) on the A40 at Birdwood about 7 miles from Gloucester towards Ross. Haven't been there for a while now, but they always seem to have plenty of trade whenever I drive past.

They are excellent, and have a set price menu to suit all requirements. I usually have the mini-valet @£13. All washed by hand, interior and boot both vacuumed, dash etc. polished and left nice and sweet-smelling.
