Tns300/310eta Postcode Search?

Hi,

Is there anyway to get a postcode search on these devices? The sat nav, all be it monochrome on mine, isn't too bad and saves having to drag a Tom Tom around with me but the lack of Postcode search can be a bit of a nightmare.

Is there anyway to get this working?

No sorry mate there is no way to input the Post Code on this machine unfortunately , just street numbers etc , !Removed! nuisance isnt it ?

It is a pity about the postcode thing but ...... if you have the landline phone number of your destination input that and it takes you almost to the door, i've only used this method once and it worked for me on my TNS310 .... give it a try. Otherwise just put the address in which isn't that easy as you will know.

Phone numbers? Weird - I'll give it a whirl!

I would have thought, in an update, they would have added support for postcodes - but obviously they haven't!

Some of the addresses I go to are named instead of numbered (i.e. Highway House) so it doesn't do a good job of finding them. I'll definately have a go with phone numbers though - what a weird way to search!
