Front Foglights

Hi,

Bought a 2007 T3 last week and I am enjoying it, but I live in a rural area and would like to fit fog lamps. I was after a T4 but couldn't find one locally with low mileage and at the right price so bought the T3.

Does any one know if they are an easy fit, i.e. is all the wiring in place. I had similar issue with a Mondeo in the past and it was very easy as all the wiring was in place and you could buy a Ford kit at a reasonable price which included the light, brackets and switch.

Also has anybody bought the Westfield bike carrier from Towequipe that fits to the chassis at the rear. I definately want to carry a bike but not on the roof or using the strap on type.

Thanks

I am in same position as you with a bike carrier, don't want bikes on the roof, strap on carriers etc. The towequipe one looks good and I am tempted to go for it, but not sure about wiring-in the lighting loom myself. So like you, looking forsomeone else to confirm they have done it sucessfully.

If no one else has tried on the forum I may end up being the first. My intention was to probably get a small independant autoelectrician to do the wiring part and I'll fit the mechanical side of things. After all the 12v circuit should be reasonably normal and although Toyota will be doing my servicing I think they will be too pricey for these type of jobs. I'll probably try and organise something over the next few weeks. I was really hoping to confirm the quality of the rack as its normally Thule stuff I use attached to a towbar.
