I hear a lot about re-flashing ECU's..

I know what a re-flash is.. e.t.c..... what i dont know is Auris specific....

How do you know a) if your SR180 needs re-flashing and B) if it has been re-flashed by the prvious owner.

The recent re-flashing for the SR180 has been an ecu update from Toyota HO following a recall from them, and is done at any Toyota dealer.

If and when you buy a T180 or SR180 just take it to a local dealer and they can tell you from the vehicle history if it has been done or needs doing, and if it needs doing, then they will do it foc.
