Back in July I bought an old Chaly (CF70) to restore and now I have done this I thought I would share the results with you all. I have now fully restored the bike very close to original apart form the colour as I dont like yellow much.

This is how the bike looked when I collected it from Halifax

Nice job, was she running before restoration, i remember those old chicken chasers from my youth.

Once again nice job.

The bike had been stood for 17years, it did run when I picked it up but not great. I spent the 1st day having a play getting it running smoother then about 7pm stripped the bike into 4 large boxes.

Fantastic work!

It's a shame that I'm not that into bikes because they give big results without too much time (by the looks of it) :)

Brilliant job

But why am I thinking?........

Please wait a few seconds for Video to load!

I was thinking of some "black widow" stickers as a few of my mates have these

That looks really good.

It is nearly as old as my 1968 Lambretta, which I also restored.

Totally brilliant job, Rick  She looks as though she was just out of the Showroom Now & should be worth quite a few bob to a collector

Les's video is totally true to life. I, in my misspent youth had a 500 Norton. I was going home & saw a friend thumbing it. Naturally, I gave him a lift on the pillion. At the end of our 100+ mile journey, he was literally frozen into a sitting position like the Scooter passenger.

Thanks, I now have some better rear shocks fitted and have bought some alloy wheel rims, so I am having the hubs sprayed red. I will post some pictures when this is done ;)
