Help Me Please It Wont Take A Second ;)

my starlet is going to the scrap yard and im gunna crush it very soon!! :@ lol rite my engine management light is on my revs go up and down all the time its almost like the idle control valve is screwed. i cleaned it all up but it still aint working. can anyone help me.

also there is a blue cable that comes off the wiring loom near the injectors and it goes off to the back of the engine block what is that can anyone shed some light..

if you look at my pics can u check to see if i have all the cables in the right places.. i knw i have done something wrong and its doin my head in
